You may close your account at any time, and there are no early cancellation or prepayment penalties.
You can close your account:
- Online through your customer portal, or
- By contacting our support team for assistance
If you have an installment account
If you are having trouble making a payment, it may help to know how timing works:
- You have 14 days after your due date before a late fee may apply
- Accounts are typically reported as late to the credit bureaus after 30 days past due
If you are concerned about making a payment, we encourage you to reach out to our support team as soon as possible. We may be able to help you understand your options.
If you have a Revolv account
Revolv accounts are billed on a yearly basis. Optional monthly payments may be added through your customer portal.
You may be able to set your monthly payment amount as low as $0 if you want to take a break from making monthly payments while keeping your subscription active.
How closing your account may affect your credit
There are no penalties for paying off your account early. However, closing an account early may reduce the number of on-time payments reported to the credit bureaus, or if you have a Revolv subscription, closing that account may increase your credit utilization.
Because payment history and available credit are important factors in credit reporting, this could reduce the positive impact the account may have on your credit profile. Credit outcomes vary based on your overall credit history and other factors.
