Overview
CreditStrong accounts are designed to help you build credit, not to provide direct personal financing.
Because of how our accounts are structured, access to funds depends on the type of CreditStrong account you have.
Installment credit builder accounts
For installment accounts (Instal, CS Max, and Magnum):
- The savings account is locked during the loan term
- The funds act as collateral to secure the loan
- Funds are not available for withdrawal while the loan is active
Once your loan reaches maturity or is paid off in full, the lock is removed. At that point, you may request to have the available savings balance transferred to you using the method of payment on file.
Revolv accounts
Revolv works a bit differently.
Revolv customers who have set up a Monthly Savings Plan may be eligible to make limited withdrawals from their savings balance.
Withdrawal availability and limits depend on your account status and plan rules. You can check your eligibility directly in your Customer Portal. Read more about Revolv Savings Plans here.
Important things to keep in mind
- CreditStrong accounts are credit‑building tools, not cash‑advance products
- Savings funds are not freely accessible during an active installment loan
- Withdrawal options, when available, vary by account type
If you’re unsure which type of account you have or whether withdrawals are available to you, our Support Team is happy to help you review your options!
